There are many home automation systems out there. How does the Basis Smart Panel work with them?
At present, the Basis Smart Panel does not directly integrate existing home automation systems into our Home app ecosystem.
Though our panel provides control and automation at a circuit level, if you have more granular automation systems than this, you'll continue to operate them as you do currently. Your Basis Certified Electrician can provide more guidance on your specific systems and how they will behave.
At the moment, we will be exploring home automation integrations early in 2026. Watch this space!
