Naming your panels
Give your panels clear, memorable names so you know which is which at a glance.
- Go to Panel in your app menu
- Select Panel name
- Enter a custom name (e.g. "Left Side Panel", "Right Side Panel", "Panel 1" "Panel 2")

Tip: Use names that reflect where the panel is located or what it powers. This makes your insights much easier to read.
Managing your property details
Updating your property details
Your property information address, ICP, and NMI is all managed in one place:
- Open Settings
- Select Property details
Everything you need to update is here.
Updating your address
If you move or need to correct your address:
- In Property details, tap on your address
- Edit it to the correct information
- Save your changes
The system can auto-populate your ICP or NMI based on your address, which saves time — but you can also enter it manually if needed.
What's an ICP or NMI?
These are your electricity connection identifiers:
- ICP (Installation Control Point) — used in New Zealand
- NMI (National Metering Identifier) — used in Australia
You'll find this number on your electricity bill. It's unique to your property and helps your energy company identify your connection.
Updating your ICP or NMI
- In Property details, find the ICP or NMI field
- Check your electricity bill to confirm the correct number
- Enter or correct it in the app
- Save
The app can auto-populate this based on your address, but manual entry is always an option if needed
Navigating your energy insights
The insights section now includes better navigation tools to help you explore your data deeply.
Drilling down into specific periods
When you're looking at yearly or monthly data:
- Open Insights and view your chart (yearly, monthly, or daily)
- Tap on any bar in the chart to select that period
- Tap the date label below the chart
- The app will show you detailed analysis for that specific time period
This is perfect when you spot an interesting spike or want to understand what happened in a particular month.
Moving between time periods quickly
Instead of opening the calendar picker every time, use the floating buttons that appear in your insights view:
- Tap the left arrow to see the previous period
- Tap the right arrow to see the next period
Navigate smoothly without leaving the insights screen.
