How do you change the password for the network your Basis Smart Panel is connected to, or connect to a new network?
To change the password on the wireless network your panel is connected to, or switch networks entirely, you will need to forget your panel and reinstate the connection. Please follow the steps below:
1. Forget the panel. Go to the Control tab in the Basis app. Tap Panel Details, then select "Forget Panel". Confirm when prompted.
2. Reconnect to the panel. Return to the Home screen and follow the set up steps to reconnect your panel. For best results, stay close to your panel during this process.
3. Select new wifi network. Once your panel is connected and verified, select your preferred Wi-Fi network and enter the new password.
