Can I connect the Basis Smart Panel to my existing home automation system?
There are many home automation systems out there. How does the Basis Smart Panel work with them?
As of Q1 2026, the Basis Smart Panel fully supports Home Assistant integration. You can read more about it in our article here. We are incredibly excited to introduce this and would love to hear from you about how you're making things better using this integration!
Though our panel provides control and automation at a circuit level, if you do not choose to use Home Assistant and have more granular automation systems than this, you'll continue to operate them as you do currently. Your Basis Certified Electrician can provide more guidance on your specific systems and how they will behave.
