How do I make a warranty claim?

If you need to initiate a warranty claim, please contact the Basis Accredited Electrician who installed your Basis Panel.

If you are unable to contact your Basis Accredited Electrician, you can still initiate a warranty request by filling out this form, and the team will endeavour to get in touch with you within 24 hours.

For a Limited Warranty claim to be processed, please ensure you have the following information handy:

  • Basis part/product

  • Basis serial number

  • Description of why the replacement part is needed. Please share as much detail as possible, including photos if available.

  • Shipping information (note: BASIS will ship directly to the installer unless otherwise requested. BASIS does not ship to homeowner/residential addresses)

What to expect?

You can expect acknowledgement of your request within 24 hours, with clarifying questions if necessary.

Once all information regarding your request is confirmed, the order for your service part will be processed within 1-3 business days depending on the part and the urgency of the situation.

Once a shipping label is generated, we’ll confirm the tracking number. 

Where we require the old product to be returned, a return shipping label will be included with the replacement shipment.
